We had an outstanding dinner experience and couldn’t be more pleased. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. A huge part of what made the evening so enjoyable was Cody, our server, who truly went above and beyond. He was attentive, professional, and made sure every one of our guests felt well taken care of throughout the night without ever being intrusive. We started with the crab cakes, veal ravioli, and stuffed mushrooms—each one absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. For dinner, we enjoyed the filets, New York strips, and the Valencia salad, all of which were cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The food, service, and calm, elegant ambiance came together to create a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend Ruth Chris in South Bend to anyone looking for an excellent dinner, top-tier service, and a relaxed yet upscale atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Our waitress Hannah was fantastic!!! My husband & I came for lunch 3/6 for my 70th birthday. Hannah was always smiling & friendly. Attended to our every need. She brought out a piece of dark fudgy cake & taped a bday candle to top of container to take home. Hannah made our visit stupendous in every way. I came here with my mom for her birthday and I asked "to make it special" for her and they absolutely delivered! Our server, Megan, was one of the best servers we have ever had. We loved her personality and her hospitality really made the night special! We both got steaks (classic filet and New York Strip) and the portions, taste, and presentation was top-notch!! We started with a caeser salad and my mom fell in love with the croutons and she was telling everyone how much she loved them and the General Manager, Scott, gave her a whole to-go box of them and she was just absolutely beaming. Overall this is our new celebratory spot. If you're looking for amazing food, top-notch hospitality, and somewhere with wonderful atmosphere, this is the place to go! My mom and I can't stop raving about our wonderful evening!

We had one of the latest reservations there is. The dress code has went down hill I don't know. My man was appalled that he sat grown men in jeans. Other then that service was a tad slow not totally in the waitress control but 20 min is a long wait once seated. The food was absolutely delicious and on a side note Corey recommended the off the menu chocolate Evans special cake it was decadent. Drinks were all very yummy

We visited South Bend for the Christmas holidays, and wanted to go to a steakhouse. The recommendations were true !! From service, to presentation and exceptionally tasty food this place is top notch. Absolutely worth the visiit and spending the extra money on a high quality steakhouse. Our server was Tony with a well-practiced table manners and adorable mustache style. It gave an added authenticity to the experience. And Dad, who can find a way to complain about something and likes his food a certain way - he had only good things to say about the food and experience. He rated it - 'really good'.

Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were classic and flavorful, and everything arrived sizzling just as promised. The service truly stood out. The staff was attentive, professional, and made our group feel welcomed and taken care of all evening without ever being intrusive. It made the night feel special and stress-free. Ruth’s Chris was the perfect setting for our Christmas party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better dining experience. We’ll absolutely be back for future celebrations and special occasions.

For many years, our dining experience has always been truly enjoyabe at Ruth Chris with a beautiful atmosphere, outstanding service, and the food cooked perfectly everytime!! Our server Megan was absolutely the best..making us feel relaxed with no pressure to rush our dining experience with grace and professionalism! From the appetizers to dessert, ending our evening with our traditional Sambuca drink, it was a wonderful dining experience.. not a surprise!! You can instantly recognize that Ruth Chris has worked hard to make sure your dining experience is flawless from appetizers to dessert.every time!!

I have been to this cruise more than the numerous of times, especially for my birthday. This was a true bad experience. The general manager Chris came and spoke with me and told me that my sweet potatoes was more than acceptable even though it was burnt during a Notre Dame game, sat here and waited for food that was ordered for over 45 minutes, but watching other tables, get the food and receive it before I was a great disgrace feeling as if a person with color is being served. Labs was not acceptable in my book. Where is experience on my birthday?
